How to Use
  1. Clean and Power On: Wipe the silver metal tip with an alcohol swab or cool, soapy water, then rinse with cold water. Press the power button; a brief test screen and a flashing "°C" or "Lo" indicates it is ready.
  2. Position the Tip Correctly: For Oral (Mouth): Place the silver tip under the tongue, slightly to one side in the warm pocket back near the molars. Close your lips firmly around it. For Axillary (Underarm): Place the silver tip directly into the center of a dry armpit. Fold your arm tightly against your chest to seal in the heat.
  3. Hold Still & Wait for Beep: Keep your mouth closed (or arm pressed tight) and hold perfectly still. Wait for the thermometer to continuous-beep (usually 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the model), which indicates it has locked onto the peak temperature.
  4. Read & Sanitize: Remove the thermometer to read the digital numbers on the display window. Sanitize the metal tip again with an alcohol wipe, let it air dry, and slide it back into its protective storage case.
